Kale

Kale is an ideal vegetable to include in any diet as it helps to lose weight given to it high fiber content, which favors digestion, prevents constipation and reduces appetite.

In addition to having several vitamins, such as vitamin K, which strengthens the composition of bones. Vitamin A helps maintain an immune system, Calcium, to strengthen bones and teeth and prevent the formation of stones.

Other vitamins

Kale possesses other vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are excellent for our health, such as manganese and copper; a very good source of vitamin B6, fiber, potassium, vitamin E and vitamin B2; and a good source of iron, magnesium, vitamin B1, omega-3 fats, phosphorus, protein, folic acid and vitamin B3.

Antioxidant

This vegetable has a high content of carotenes and flavonoids, powerful antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals.

The high content of vitamin C, an antioxidant par excellence, which reduces blood pressure, favors the immune system and prevents eye diseases of old age, such as cataracts and macular degeneration.

Anti-inflammatory

Kale contains omega-3, which regulates the body’s inflammatory processes. Its consumption helps prevent arthritis, immune system disorders and asthma.

Cancer

Many of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds contained in kale work together, preventing the formation of cancer of the colon, breast, bladder, prostate, ovaries, as well as stomach cancer.
